A new initiative has been launched by AMP Singapore to bring together Muslim professionals who are making an impact both locally and abroad.
Named Globally Empowered Muslims Singapore (Gems), the initiative aims to recognise two key groups – Singaporean Muslim professionals serving overseas, as well as non-Singaporean Muslim professionals working in Singapore.
The initiative was launched by AMP Singapore Executive Director, Mr Mohksin Rashid, during the Muslim Professionals Summit 2025, held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre on 1 November.
With global issues becoming increasingly interconnected, Mr Mohksin hopes that Gems will create opportunities for AMP to reconnect with Singaporeans working abroad.
“The purpose of Gems is for us to learn from both groups, share knowledge, broaden perspectives, and explore opportunities beyond our shores.
“Through Gems, we will organise various activities that provide opportunities to better understand other countries,” he explained.
